Why I'm building this

When it comes to writing,
I'm a wanderer.

Ideas come as I move through the world (both real and imagined) and I discover more as I pull on each thread.

As therapeutic as that can be, managing the world building for my first high fantasy quickly became overwhelming. I struggled to find the right platform to match my style. It felt like structure needed to be determined in advance, ideation was scattered and like all the best work was assumed to happen at a desktop (which I didn't even have).

A product designer and marketer by trade, I decided to build something that fit my needs better. Something that lets me capture loose ideas at any time, constantly shuffle my drafts, and let my characters grow through every stage of my writing journey. That's how Weave was born.
